Outreach

Wallflower Community Outreach exists to support individuals experiencing homelessness and other vulnerable populations by addressing both immediate needs and long-term barriers. This includes assisting with healthcare access, Medicaid enrollment, provider connections, and navigation of complex support systems. Located in Belton, Missouri.

Our Mission: Supporting and uplifting vulnerable individuals through caring outreach, comprehensive assistance, and empowering them to create a brighter future.

about us

Wallflower Community Outreach grew out of years of hands-on, grassroots service within the community.

It began in 2018 by volunteering with Free Hot Soup Belton, where firsthand experience revealed the gaps that existed beyond basic services. Seeing those unmet needs led to street outreach—meeting people where they are and helping address both immediate concerns and the long-term barriers that often keep individuals from accessing stability.

For years, this outreach has served northern Cass County and southern Jackson County Missouri, not only by providing food and essential supplies, but by helping people navigate the real-life steps that often go overlooked.

Wallflower Community Outreach was created to make that work official. Too often, individuals fall through the cracks not because they don’t want help, but because the system is overwhelming and disconnected. We exist to fill those gaps by offering consistency, advocacy, and compassion—meeting people exactly where they are🌻
